Summer is here
Having a bath is again a joy
Taking a walk in the sun is not so great
Nice food and fruits are filling my fridge
–
Lovely mangoes to suck are
Around the corner, maybe next week
Ice-cream shall be devoured
and damn the calories
–
Sweat will meet deoderant
And occasionally win
Only to meet luxurious showers
and dips in the pool
–
Time to be lazy
Siestas are the best
Antidote to life and it’s complexities
Mornings shall be nice again
–
Summer , welcome home again.

I loved it. I miss summer now

What an excellent way to capture Summer in a poem.
Nice poem, especially the last stanza.
