These poems are for Kush

Without Poetry

Without poetry there is only mundanity

The parade of night and day following each too soon

Without fine food there is only gluttony

The heaping of obese rings like a buffoon

Without art life would be dull

Too linear without any colored curves

Without science life would be petty

Stagnant thoughts masquerading as love

Without love there will be no heartache

Without heartache there will be no real pain

Without pain there can be no real poetry

Without poetry, well we start over again

Without poetry, there won’t be life. :-)

  2. You put truth into poetry. That’s wonderful.
