These poems are for Kush

My son

My son, I am sorry , so much you have had to see
Parents fighting ,bickering,shouting, bitterly,
I divorced your mother, I am sorry I had to go
I cant help missing you, I want to let you know

You are six now and someday you will be a man
Maybe when you read this, you may understand
The dim fog of dark memories may see light
Your dad was ordinary, but he sure loved you all right

  1. I am happy you are so honest about fatherhood. I’ve written a lot about father’s rights. Your words speak volumes!
